Seven of the top 10 recruits in the 2026 class already committed including offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, the No. 1 overall spect who chose Miami in May.

Plenty of names are still on the board with a number of decisions set to be made over the 4th of July weekend.

The rush of commitments kicked off early when 4-star QB Luke Fahey (CA) chose Ohio State on Thursday night.

The fun is nowhere close to being over as grams continue to build on their 2026 class, and here are five 5-star commitments to watch over the next few days.

Star ratings are according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Felix Ojo Offensive tackle Felix Ojo (TX) released a group of finalists that included Texas, Florida, Michigan and Ohio state, but a surprise team entered the mix heading into Friday afternoon’s commitment.

Ojo is toward in-state Texas at this point and is rated as the seventh overall spect, second offensive tackle and first in Texas.

The Wolverines are considered the favorites a day before the announcement ing his final official visit on June 20.

If this comes to fruition, Michigan will continue to imve its future passing game after landing Bryce Underwood, the top overall 2025 spect, with three wide receivers committed already.

Jireh Edwards Safety Jireh Edwards (MD) will choose Alabama, Auburn or Georgia on Saturday after canceling official visits to Texas A&M and Oregon.

Those were canceled ing the OV to Alabama, and all signs point to the Crimson Tide adding one of the top 2026 safeties by the end of this weekend. Edwards is rated as the No.

23 overall spect in the class. Bryce Perry-Wright Defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright (GA) is down to Clemson, Texas A&M, Texas and Miami with a Saturday commitment expected.

Opinions are mixed on where he might land with Clemson taking an early lead, but Texas A&M appears to be in the best position at this point of his recruitment ing a recent official visit.

Perry-Wright is a top-five spect in Georgia.

Chauncey Kennon Cornerback Chauncey Kennon (FL) is expected to be the final 5-star spect to make a decision over the 4th of July weekend at this point with a commitment coming Sunday night.

The top contenders include LSU, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Miami and Florida State. The Seminoles are in a strong position to pick up the No. 2 overall cornerback spect in the 2026 recruiting class.
